As I am sure everyone knows by now that I had surgery. I had my entire colon removed! yikes. This was a long time coming surgery and was a very hard decision we made as a family. I kept saying "what if I die".. just trying to be all dramatic. ha! so I wanted a picture with my babies before I went in for surgery. We took this picture the night before I went to the hospital. I HATE my fat face from all the medicines I was on but I wanted that picture in case I died. ha!ha!
on a side note, I am on ZERO medicines now. could not be happier about that.

as I said. life goes on. Even though I was in the hospital for 4 days having my lovely surgery life was still going on. Hadley fell down the staris and needed her daddy. He had just gotten off work and came to hang out with me at the hospital when we got a call for him to go home because Hadley needed him. The first picture is of Kellen and Hadley at the doctor office. She broke her sweet little arm. Doesn't stop this brave girl though. She does everything she wants still and is so funny with her cast. She knows how to take it off so we are constantly putting it back on and trying to keep her busy so she will leave it on.
Kohen still had gym class and still loves it so much. Since Kohen was born so early he has seen and still sees many many different doctors. He had a doctor appointment while I was down with one of the higher up doctors and so Kellen and Grandma Julie were able to go and take him. We are so lucky with how things turned out with Kohen. We have heard stories and seen other children who were born early like him and are not as lucky.
We have been so spoiled and lucky that my mom was able to take FOUR weeks off from work to stay home and help take care of Kohen, Hadley and me. She has been such a huge help and my kids have grown even closer to her. I can not thank her enough for changing a million diapers, cleaning the house, doing the laundry, feeding the kids and so much more. She is the best mom to even think about taking that time off from her life to help keep mine going. THANK YOU mom! we love you so much and appreciate you more than we can ever say.
Life is going on and we are getting super healthy around here..
going to ride horses has become a usual thing again and of coarse the library.
LOVE getting back to my normal healthy life.
