a weekend to remember:)

(The top to our wedding cake last year)
This last weekend Kellen and I were sealed together in the Salt Lake Temple! We were sealed on our one year anniversary :) Wow, what an experience this was! I can't explain how great it was to share this entire experience with my best friend/husband! We received our endowments Friday the 19th of August in the Draper temple. Saturday the 20th we were sealed and then had a family bbq. We are seriously so blessed and lucky to have the family and friends that we have. Thank you all for the love, support and for all those who traveled to be here with us. We will never forget this weekend thats for sure:)

all weekend long:)

This weekend Kellen and I were able to have Bentley all weekend long while his mom went to Vegas for her birthday! Bentleyis the HAPPIEST baby and has the funniest personality. he gave us an idea of how things will be when we have a baby of our own.. and we LOVED it!

Heis older so we did get to sleep all night (I woke up 3 times to check on him) but it has been so much fun I don't want to give him back. My family has all fallen in love with him and acts as if he was ours... he sure is spoiled here :)Thank you Crissey for trusting Kellen and I to watch Bentley, we sure do love him!

Elder Kellen!

Kellen was ordained an Elder this month. It was such a great experience to be there as he was ordained.

We had SO many people there to celebrate with us. We are so blessed to have these people in our lives!

(face cake made by Mrs. Collette Bodtcher!)

We had a BBQ with a game of kickball at a park near by. It was such a fun night filled with people who matter most! :)

Brad!

The week before I went into the hospital I was able to tend my cousin Brad while his parenets went to Brazil! 9 days with Brad is just not enough. He is so sweet and can turn any bad day into the best day ever with his cute smile and laugh.
some of us girl cousins decided it would be fun to take Brad out with just the girls. He LOVED it! he was so excited he hardly even ate any dinner lol
I also had these crazy boys with me while I was watching Brad. Liam & Conner!

Brad, Conner & Britt

I was also able to take pictures of Britt while her parents were in Brazil.

It was an amazing week with Brad. I don't know why but being around Brad makes me so emotional. His sweet spirit and happiness is incredible.

I am so greatful Kellen and I were able to stay with him!

It was not an easy week since it was the week before my long hospital visit but I have such an amazing family who came and helped whenever I needed it.

Cheryl! get ready for another vacation, we want to watch Brad again soon!

hospital update

A lot of you know that I have been having some medical problems and just spent the last five days in the hospital.
When people ask me why, I never know exactly how to explain it to people. That is why I love my blog. I can write and not have to try and explain my weird body over and over lol

I have what is called ulcerative colitis and was diagnosed with it over two years ago. It is a life long trial I will have. When I was diagnosed with it I got my colon into remission in no time! This time was a different story.
I was having some stomach aching and went to my AMAZING doctor that I just love and he told me I had what is called C-diff colitis. I was put straight on an antibiotic and got rid of it in less than two months but because of the C-dfff colitis my Ulcerative colitis got out of remission!
I was having a hard time keeping anything in me and throwing everything up because I got so dehydrated. On Easter sunday I spent the evening in the hospital getting hydrated and still didn't feel great when I went home. Then two weeks later I went to an insticare for some fluids but ended up in the ER the next day [just in Wyoming lol] and got three bags of fluids and still didn't even have to go to the bathroom. My sister was freaking out that I still didn't have to and she was right.. I had a blessing Saturday night and had the best nights rest in the longest time! came home from wyoming and ended up in the hospital for five days. They had me on many medications that I am finally taking not through an IV! but I sure did love my IV.
I had amazing nurses that I will be seeing at the mall lol never at the hospital again.

This is where I get emotional, My family and friends. I don't even know where to begin! My husband.. he was there every second he could be just taking care of me and loving me. I gave him a couple scares that made him emotional but I know this made us even stronger than we already were. I love him so much!!! My parents.. awww. I have the best parents. Every single night I was there I had one of my parents on one side of me and Kellen on the other. They were both with me every second they could be as well. My mother and father in law were there to visit me every single night and made sure I knew how much they love me! It meant more to me than they know. I had so many family members come and my best friend Ashli and her family [who is family]. My sister started to pack to come be with me but we convinced her I was ok and she could stay in Wyoming. I received many flowers and cards! I don't know how I got so lucky to have my family.
one of my nurses had said to me that I have the most loving family.. I always knew I did but when a grave yard shift nurse can see it too just makes my heart melt. I am so greatful for all my family. All the phone calls it all helped me get through it.
Thank you!!!

on a funny note: the same nurse who loved my family said to me, I have been looking at you all day trying to figure out who you look like.. you will never guess who she said. Jessica Alba! ha! of coarse I think that is a compliment since she is a cute girl but serious? I was in a hospital bed.. my hair was having its naturalness and my make up is no where in sight! hahahaha I wish!

I finally got home today but will be in my bed for a while longer.
Thank you everyone for your love and concern. I am the luckiest girl ever!
