4th of July madness...

I love the 4th of July!

This is mine and Kellen's second 4th of July together so he is getting used to my family madness.
On Saturday we wake up super early and run the Murray 5k!
We watch the Murray parade with both sides of my family and then everyone comes back to my house for breakfast!

This year my brother Jeremy got engaged on the 4th of July!
He is the 3rd one in my family engaged this year! lol

This year my parents, Emily, Josh, Abi, Ava, Kellen and I got together and went to the carnival. I took Abi on this ride that I knew was to old for her but my family kept saying she will be fine (she acts so mature we forget her age sometimes)
I took her on the ride and she HATED it! She was holding onto my arm so tight and kept saying she was going to throw up. Poor Abi! I love that girl :)



Emily, Josh, Kellen and I went on a ride together. It was a fun ride! There is a picture of Josh when you zoom in he looked like Abi did on her ride, like he was going to throw up! lol

We tried to take pictures of each other... Kellen and Josh can not keep their eyes open! Emily and I just have huge eyes so maybe thats how we keep our eyes open so well lol We love these pictures of Josh and Kellen:)

Sunday we celebrated Kellen's mom's birthday. We had dinner and did fireworks. The fireworks were so funny, Kellen's mom had a box full of old fireworks so we didn't know what some were going to end up doing. It was so funny!

On Monday we went to the Provo parade with Kellen's parents,brother and his wife and spent the day with them!

It was such a fun weekend. I could live it all over again :)

engagements!!

Kellen and I went up to the Provo canyon on Monday and had our engagements taken! We are both pretty shy people but they turned out great!! We love them:) On our way down from the canyon my poor car's check engine light came on.. Well $150 dollars later I have my car back and we have our amazing pictures lol
It was a fun day :)

My dad..

This week my dad kept saying he couldn't see out of his left eye. We just thought he got something in it and it was irritated. He went to the doctor on Thursday and they rushed him into surgery.

His retina detached!!

He has a lot of rules and is doing good but it is so hard for him to stay put! We are trying to get our backyard ready for two weddings and now he can't lift or do anything. He is very frustrated! lol
I think people don't think about how lucky they are untill something like this happens in your life, I know I have been guilty of it!

I am SO greatfull for my dad and all he does for me and my family. He is an amazing man and I know I could go to him for anything :)

Target

Kellen & I went and registered at Target a couple nights ago. It was so much fun!!

We both have never moved out of our parents house so we had a lot to register for!

We had the hardest time picking things because we didn't have any type of color for the house.. So Kellen, being the only one who knows how to match lol picked colors as we went along. I trust him so these colors will look great lol

Kellen had the scanner thing for most of the time, I walked away looking at other things and I could hear the scanner going off a bunch of times.. lol people say to watch the men that they will register for anything and everything! I don't know what he registered for but we are a good team, I am sure I will like whatever he picks :)

I am so excited to marry Kellen! :)

The month of May is officially mine and Kellen's bussiest time of the year, or atleast thats how it feels.

Not only are we planning a wedding (which the date is possibly changing, yet again) lol

We have had..

• 5 family birthday's!
• Kellen's sister had her baby boy so we went to St. George to see him, he is ADORABLE! lol
• Abi turned 8 so we had her dance recital and her baptism.
• Ava turned 4 so we had a birthday party for her.
• Grandparents came into town so we spent time with them.
• Jeremy's girlfriend is getting baptised.
• Travis got ENGAGED! :)
• I have 16 days left of school!! :) so many tests..

It has been a fun month.. but VERY busy!

So Liana is my brother Jeremy's girlfriend. She is getting baptized in two weeks so we decided tonight to go take pics of her lol Here are some of my favorites of her and of course some with Jer :) I have decided I want to get into photography... once I get a nice camera lol

Kellen and I have been soo busy with wedding planning and just spending time together:)
We have the place, our AMAZING photographer and my dress is on its way. We have a lot more to do but we are not stressing and just taking it one day at a time. Our weddig date is September 1st. We are so excited!

We had a great Easter..
We hung out with his family in the morning, colored some eggs and just spent time with everyone.. Then we went to my dad's mom's house... we had fun hanging with them since we don't see them very often. Kira being a BUTT HEAD threw Cami's cat on me knowing how scared I am of cats. Brat!! lol
After my Grandma Allred's we went to my mom's parents house. geez do we always have fun there lol We ate and the boys played basketball for a while.. then we all played tornado! I love family!!

I have not blogged in the longest time but this is the only thing I can think of that wont take me an hour to write about right now lol
